Who is crazy busy this time of year? I know I am. From our annual holiday party, to the work holiday party to the long list of gifts I have to give, I think I spend at least half of my time in the kitchen this time of year. Right now, one of my favorite easy recipes to make for holiday parties or to include in holiday edible gifts are maple bacon chocolate dipped RITZ Crackers.
These chocolate dipped RITZ Crackers are so delicious and super easy to make. I am obsessed with adding bacon to just about anything and everything so, of course, I had to do a maple bacon version for my holiday gift packages. Once the chocolate is completely set, I just put a few into a cupcake liner and they fit perfectly into my gift boxes. With the great coupon available through Ibotta, I can make delicious edible gifts and stay within budget too.
Ingredients for Maple Bacon Chocolate Dipped RITZ Crackers:
1 box RITZ Crackers, original or bacon flavored
2 cups dark chocolate chips
1/2 lb bacon
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 Tbsp kosher salt
Let’s Make It:
1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with foil and lay bacon on top in a single layer. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Brush both sides of each piece of bacon with maple syrup and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes or until crisp. Let cool and then crumble into small pieces.
3. In a microwaveable bowl, melt chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Dip each one of the RITZ Crackers into melted chocolate and then place onto prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and kosher salt. Let set for 5 minutes. Repeat for as many RITZ Crackers as you would like.
These are perfect for the holiday dessert platter for parties too! Don’t forget that, right now, there is an awesome coupon for RITZ Crackers on Ibotta to save you some money when shopping at Walmart for your ingredients. Be sure to look for the holiday display of RITZ Crackers in Walmart to find all the delicious varieties.

Your instructions say “dark chocolate chips but your picture looks like chocolate Candy Melts. Not sure what to buy, but really wanting to try this!

I used dark chocolate melts from Ghiradelli so they resemble the Wilton melts but are dark chocolate. You can use regular dark chocolate chips as well. They work equally as well 🙂 Just make sure you use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.
