This year, Mathlete is taking our daughter, H, out for a daddy/daughter date to see the Nutcracker performed by the Washington Ballet. Of course, a big trip out with daddy requires a new outfit so I went shopping 🙂 I knew my time to shop in store was limited so I decided to check out some of the offerings on the web.
I’ve read a lot of reviews and seen some really cute outfits from Cookie’s Kids so clicked over to see what they had to offer!
I immediately clicked over to visit the Cookie’s Kids dresses page since I knew H would be most interested in wearing a dress. They had a ton of beautiful options to choose from.
Once I placed my order, I was so excited to see the dress in person! It arrived a few days later folded nicely and just as beautiful as I had imagined.
The dress had a beautiful rosette on it which was a great little detail. I also loved the weight because I knew we could re-use it for Valentine’s Day parties too.
H immediately wanted to put her dress on and try it on. The dress fit perfectly which was such a relief because I knew I would have an outfit ready for her date with daddy. I figured I didn’t have anything to worry about though since Cookie’s Kids offers a great size feature {just look for the Alva symbol!} to help guide you on what size to purchase.
We did a quick “modeling” session as we do with all of her new “special” clothes.
Our final “test” of the new dress was the spin test which H does with all new dresses to see how far the skirt spins out.
You can see more of our modeling session by visiting my Google+ album.
Are you doing any holiday shopping for your kids? I love seeing different festive outfits on children this time of year. So happy I was able to really easily find an outfit for H at #CookiesKids.
Be sure to check out CookiesKids.com because they are offering Just Us Four readers a special 10% discount until 12/21/2012 with the discount code: justusfourblog {If you are in the NYC area, you can even visit one of their 7 local stores to shop in person!}

I don’t know if it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else
encountering problems with your blog. It appears like some of the written text on your posts are running off
the screen. Can someone else please comment and let me know if
this is happening to them too? This may be a problem with my web browser because
I’ve had this happen previously. Many thanks
