July 4th decorating can be so fun! You just can’t get much better than red, white and blue! I had picked up one of the little wood packages from Pick Your Plum awhile back and used them to make these July 4th mini-firecrackers for the upcoming holiday.
Pssst…be sure to read to the end because there is a giveaway for your choice of $150 to Target, Home Goods or World Market that you will definitely want to enter at the bottom!
Creating these little firecrackers is super easy. I used a pre-cut set from Pick Your Plum but, if you have scrap wood around, you can just cut it to three varying heights like you see.
I painted mine red, white and blue for the traditional July 4th colors.
The little kit came with a great star that I decided to paint gold to stand out against the other colors.
Then, I “tied” the whole thing together with some of my patriotic washi tape that I folded in half.
The little flames are just pieces of wire stuck into the tiny holes drilled into the tops of the pieces of wood.
.
Ok, so now, I have something that is going to set off fireworks for your summer…$150 gift card to either Target, World Market or Home Goods…winner’s choice!
Entering is really easy! Just fill out the rafflecopter form below and you are entered to win this awesome prize.
