This week is going to be full of super fun because it is chalkboard week!  I will be sharing lots of chalkboard projects that I have been working and some others from awesome bloggers throughout the week.
Today, we are starting out with a ridiculously simple project using clothespins, some wooden labels and chalkboard paint to make chalkboard labels.

We are in the process of redoing H’s bedroom and I want to make it easier for her put things into their proper place.  For that, labels are our best friends.
But, I wanted to be sure we could reuse the labels as she grows and the things in her room change.  The easiest way to make labels that can be changed all the time is to use chalkboard paint.

Start by painting the wooden pieces with chalkboard paint.  I usually do 2-3 coats to get really good coverage.
Grab some mini clothespins and hot glue them to the back of the labels once the paint is dry.
Once the glue sets, you are ready for some labeling fun!
