I love holidays that have lots of themed foods. We just finished with Valentine’s Day with all of its chocolate and heart shaped foods. Now, we are headed straight for St. Patrick’s Day. Whether it is more traditional Irish fare or just fun green food, these 21 St. Patrick’s Day recipes will surely give you something delicious to eat as the holiday rolls around.
When I first graduated from collage, one of my favorite restaurants/bars was a local Irish pub. We’d go there for lunch and get the potato soup and Irish soda bread. Of course, nights brought yummy Irish nachos and beer. Needless to say, St. Patrick’s Day was one of their biggest days of the year. All of these recipes make me think of the fun times we had there and have me looking forward to throwing on my green apron and getting cooking when we hit March!

Thanks for all of these! I think I’m going to make a corned beef hash for St. Patrick’s Day, saving the more traditional dinner for when my husband is back from his trip that week 🙂
