Last Valentine’s Day, I saw this mirror on The Thirty Sixth Avenue.
I loved the mirror and knew I wanted to make something similar for H. I found a mirror and ribbon at Michaels right after Christmas for less than $3!
{Hint: Check the Christmas bargain bin for ribbon! There are lots of pinks and other colors that are 70% off because they have snowflakes on the front.}
I painted my mirror Martha Stewart’s green curry because I had it in my stash and it matched the multi-colored ribbon.
Then, I used a straight pin to mark the corners where I wanted the ribbon to turn.
Using regular craft glue, I glued down my first ribbon around the perimeter of the mirror.
I let that dry a little before adding the second ribbon.
All done and ready to give to H!
Nothing like a quick and easy project that is sure to make a 5 year old smile!

Great idea! Actually, you’ve inspired me to make a picture frame like this for my parents for Christmas next year. Can’t wait to get the kids in on the fun. Thanks!
