Every so often I share glimpses into the non-cooking/non-crafting side of my life. As you all know, my birthday was last week. Mathlete totally spoiled me by starting the “celebration” a week early in agreeing to go antique shopping with me at the Luckett’s Groundhog Day Sale.
We headed out on Saturday morning and prepped for a full day of shopping fun! Mathlete didn’t complain too much when we arrived and saw there were food options to entertain him
The grounds were set up with different shopping areas and then there was a ton of shopping inside the store. We started with the interior stuff because it C-O-L-D!
From here, I’ll let the pictures do the talking on some of the awesome stuff they had…
We had to leave rather suddenly to take care of somet things at home. We decided the next morning to go back since we hadn’t looked at any of the stuff outside. Of course, this time, we ended up taking the kiddos with us.
For this trip, we focused on what was outside since that is what we missed much of on Saturday.
We did take the kids inside to see Mathlete’s favorite item from the day before
We called it a day at that point so we could get home for naptime and Super Bowl prep. I’ll share what we actually came home with another day 🙂
Do you have a favorite place to go look for antiques? I’m slowly finding new places around us that are great to go shopping!
