Each year, our neighborhood hosts an Easter Egg Hunt for all of the kids. Since it is the day before Easter, our Easter baskets are already filled with the Easter goodies so our kids need something else to put the eggs they find in. This year, as I was planning my Easter crafts, I decided to find something that they could use later on instead of a random bag or Easter specific item.
I started with a simple plastic beach sand bucket that I picked up from the dollar store. I liked the idea that we could remove the Easter decoration and use it at the beach later in the summer.
With my Silhouette Cameo, I cut out some bunnies and the names of my children. I used some green vinyl that I had on hand because it matched both of my sand buckets.
For the bunnies, I simply peeled off the cut out design and applied it to the bucket. I used transfer paper to easily move the names from my cutting matte onto bucket.
Have you been working on any Easter crafts these past few weeks? I can’t wait for my kids to use these buckets at the Easter Egg Hunt this coming week.
