When we lived in our townhouse, we had a little kitchen table from Ikea. As out family has grown, that table just gotten way too small for us. So, we went and bought a new table and planned to sell the old table. Then, we started finishing the basement and decided to use the table as a craft able instead.
Of course, I couldn’t just throw an old kitchen table down in my new craft room. I did a little searching on the old standby: Pinterest and found some great ideas.
I started with our old kitchen table and cleaned off all the kid mess on it.
I use the chalk paint in Florence on the top.
Then, I painted the legs white.
Using my Cutting Edge stencil, I stenciled a design down the middle of the table.
I did three rows down the middle.
Then, I used the edge stencil to finish both the top and bottom.
All ready for crafting!

You did a great job – both on choosing delicious colors and the perfect stencil. Love the legs in a different color.

Wow, I love that color with the white! I also like that you didn’t stencil the whole thing, just those three rows makes it nice and simple. 🙂 Thanks for sharing at The Fun In Functional!
