I’m sure all you prepared parents have your gifts purchased, wrapped and under the tree. So, this post isn’t for you. It is for the parents {like me} who are still out walking the aisles and clicking on the web looking for great gifts for their kids.
Or maybe the aunt or uncle who just has no clue what to get…or the grandparent who isn’t exactly “hip” when it comes to kids’ toys.
I’ll go ahead and caveat this and say, if the kids you are shopping for aren’t {or near} 5 and 2, I’m not going to be of much help. But, if they are, read on for some great gift ideas that are readily available right now!

WTCW – New Year’s Edition
Ok, it is the last What to Cook Wednesday of the Year! Let’s celebrate with something a little outside the WTCW box.
Today, I’m sharing ideas for New Year’s Eve Party food! AND, they are all tried and true. Yep, you read that right: I have made every single one of these {I’ve included a few notes on some of them based on my experiences too}!
Ginger Shrimp Potstickers with Spicy Peanut Sauce – We totally adapted this one and made them wontons vs. potstickers. It allowed me to bake them {spray the pan and them with cooking spray} vs. cooking them in a pan.
Cranberry Meatballs – My only tip: double the recipe because these babies go fast

National Blogging Day of Silence
I will be taking today off as a day of silence and remembrance as far as technology goes. I will not be blogging, tweeting or updating on Facebook but plan on spending my time with my littles and remembering and praying for those families who lost so much in the Sandy Hook, Connecticut school shooting.
I will see you tomorrow for a new day of posting. Until then, I hope you will take the time to remember and pray for the families of Sandy Hook who have lost so much.
Wrapping It Up #DisneyPrincessWMT
Now that most of my shopping is complete, it is time to get down to the business of wrapping up all my wonderful presents to give. I like to have fun with the wrapping and try to either keep the person guessing on what the gift is or give it a unique twist on regular wrapping paper.

And of course, she loves all things Princess! We barely get in the door most nights before she has run off to throw on a Disney Princess dress over her clothes. These days, she is really into Cinderella so I knew I wanted to give her some Cinderella themed gifts for Christmas.
