One of my favorite things about spring and summer is the beginning of the Farmer’s Market. Saturday mornings are filled with strolls through the two closet looking for delicious fruits and vegetables. One of my recent visits was the inspiration for a quick one dish meal: Chicken Sausage and Vegetable Saute.

Gorgeous Jewelry – No Tools Required
I am thrilled to be working with Styled by Tori Jewelry and Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores on this post. While I have been compensated for this post, all thoughts, opinions and experiences shared here are my own.
This year, I decided I wanted to break out of my standard one necklace and wedding rings norm and start adding some fun jewelry to my daily outfits. So, I started buying jewelry from different places when I found pieces I liked. Well, that got expensive…FAST!
My next thought was to make my own jewelry but I had zero experience with that. The jewelry aisle in the craft store was so overwhelming and seemed to be really complicated. I pretty much ran out of there the first time I visited. Then, Styled by Tori Jewelery challenged me to create my own jewelry using their NEW line of gorgeous pieces. The best part: no tools required!

{Disclosure: I’ve totally been that mom a few times but I try not to always be that mom!}.

What is On Your Menu?
Ok, lovelies, help me out. I want to know what is on YOUR menu this week. Sure, I’m still sharing some great ideas down below but I’d love to hear what you have cookin!
Sunday: Sundays are just the perfect days to have slow roasted meats, like this herb roasted pork loin, for dinner.
Monday: Salads are always great during the summer because they give a meal a lighter feel. I am loving the idea of a chicken rice salad.

Pineapple Butter Cake Recipe
A few weeks ago, I shared a glimpse of how I was planning to treat Mathlete on Father’s Day with some of his favorite things, including a pineapple centered meal. As I mentioned, we started with some teriyaki pineapple burgers
But the real star of the meal was the dessert: Pineapple Butter Cake that we made butterless

Flashback: Summer Wreath with Flip Flops
This post originally appeared last year but I wanted to share it again as part of my flashback series.
This summer wreath is made out of the quintessential summer item: flip flops!
For me, that means flip flops are pretty much all you see on my feet. The only exception is if I am heading to a meeting and, then, I throw on a pair of heels for the duration. In my mind, flip flops = summer!
I wanted to change up some of the decorations on the house for summer and started with the front door. Can you guess where this going?
Yep, I flip flopped my front door.

Uses for Mason Jars – The Food Edition
This morning, I shared some of the amazing uses for mason jars that I found while searching for ideas on ways to use the iconic canning jar. I recently got a bunch, in various sizes, from our local yard sale site on Facebook and can’t wait to start using them.
This morning’s post was all about how to use the jars in crafts, DIY projects and organization. I am back with more uses for mason jars that focus on ways to use them with food and drinks.

I recently picked up a bunch from a local yard sale and immediately starting search for uses for mason jars. Today, I am sharing some of the ideas I found for using mason jars in crafts
