Happy Friday! Wow, what a week. We started school on Monday and it has been nonstop every since. I am so looking forward to the long week. What about you? Do you have any plans?

Every time I go to the grocery store, Mathlete asks me to buy bananas. Most times, we eat all but one or two which then get overly ripe and no one wants to eat them. Those bananas are perfect for making banana walnut pudding. Once turned into a delicious pudding, everyone suddenly wants in on those bananas.

Grab a little bit of summer on your fork when you dig into Grilled Peaches With Ricotta! Grilling peaches brushed with honey brings out their natural sweetness! Adding a scoop of ricotta that is topped with a balsamic glaze gives this peach recipe a burst of summer flavor!

When we were in California at the end of July, Mathlete and I ate at The Girl and the Fig in Sonoma. For several days before, we had eaten really large meals at different restaurants so we went to dinner that night looking for just a few small items. One of the choice that night was grilled peaches with ricotta. Of course, we had to order it and it was so amazing that I came home determined to recreate the meal at home.

Wow, how did we get to the last party in August? I tell you the month has literally flown by I think. I’m recovering from a family trip to Niagara Falls and trying to get the kids ready for school to start on Monday so I am going to keep this super brief. Once we hit September, you’ll see features and everything else get back to normal.

Do you know what happens when you are trying to pack for a mini-trip to Chicago with blogger friends, pack for the family trip that starts less than 12 hours after you get home from Chicago and get the kids ready for school which starts 2 days after your family trip? I love summer vacations. Mathlete and I got to go to California for a week in July and it was amazing. We were visiting wine country so there was lots of wine tasting and TONS of amazing food. I definitely did not focus on eating paleo at all. I just ate whatever I wanted whenever I wanted.
