Gather your friends together and have a little celebration! The star of the show will be this Blackberry Moscow Mule that is perfect for the Spring and Summer! This Moscow mule is so easy make and tastes so refreshing on a hot day! Perfect for a girls night or just for enjoying on your own!
Spring is in full effect here and I love it. I’m already looking forward to hosting our monthly girls’ night out on the back deck so we can enjoy the gorgeous weather!
Whenever we have one of our events at home, it is great because the host serves the drinks and everyone else brings a recipe to share (a cheese plate, spinach dip, or peach prosciutto bites are some of my favorites).
When it is my turn to host, I really get into choosing just the right cocktails to serve. My newest favorite is a Blackberry Moscow Mule!
How to make a Moscow mule and what are the Moscow mule ingredients? A Moscow mule is typically a combination of vodka, ginger beer and lime juice. You can make it a “Mexican” mule by substituting the vodka for tequila which is also so delicious.
Many times the ginger beer tends to be a bit too strong for people so I used Canada Dry® Blackberry Ginger Ale in my version. It is made with real ginger but isn’t quite as strong as a ginger beer.
Blackberry Moscow Mule Ingredients:
6 oz Canada Dry® Blackberry Ginger Ale
2 oz vodka {substitute tequila if preferred)
1/2 oz lime juice
Ice
Fresh berries for garnish
Let’s Make It:
Combine vodka or tequila and lime juice in highball glass or copper mug. Add Canada Dry® Blackberry Ginger Ale and ice. Garnish with fresh berries.
You can easily make this into a fun mocktail if you have guests attending that don’t drink alcohol. Simply replace the vodka with pomegranate juice or another fruit juice you like.
You can find Canada Dry® Blackberry Ginger Ale at Ahold Stores including Giant Food, Martin’s Food Market, & Stop & Shop March through May 2016. Be sure to have plenty of Canada Dry® Blackberry Ginger Ale on hand though because your guests are going to love this cocktail and mocktail!
