School starts here on Monday! I am already in panic mode thinking about healthy breakfasts before school and packing lunches my kids actually want to eat. We have limited time in the morning before the kids head out the door so breakfast needs to be quick and easy. What you take for lunch makes a big different around the lunch table {aren’t kids funny like that?!} so I like to make sure I pack things I know my kids will actually want to eat. Dannon® Danimals® solve both of those issues for me and help me build an epic school lunch.
Dannon® Danimals® provide “Only the Good Stuff®” with no high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors or colors, as well as provides a good source of calcium and vitamin D. They come in delicious flavors like strawberry, cotton candy or watermelon which are always a hit with the kids. The strawberry and cotton candy pack are only available during the month of August so it will be a fun back to school treat. Dannon® Danimals® are also easy for kids to open on their own and small enough that they can finish them during the lunch break too.
Here are a few tips for building an epic school lunch:
1) Choose a core item that you know your kids always love. For us, that is turkey.
2) Add in some healthy items like fruit, vegetables or cheese.
3) Reward the healthy eating with a treat like fruit snacks, cookies or Dannon® Danimals®. The Dannon® Danimals® are great for this because they offer nutrition but also taste like a sweet treat.
Dannon® Danimals® is currently running a Play 60 contest. If you find the “Golden Bongo” bottle (located in specially marked packages), you can win a Play60 Field Day for your school with NFL pros! Visit the Fuel Up To Play Site for more details.
What are some of your lunch packing tricks? Have you already started school or will you be starting soon?

I have been making lunched for years. My oldest being 37 and the youngest 10. I’m down to only making two lunches one for the 10 year old and one for the 17 year old. They both get sandwiches made from potato bread, fruit, chips, yogurt or fruit snacks and a bottle of water. The hit of the lunch is I include a daily devotional that I write everyday and include it in their lunch. Sometimes the words of encouragement is more important than the meal itself.

Sounds like you are a lunch making pro! I am sure the devotional is their most treasured piece of that lunch each day.
