Usually, birthdays are amazing, exciting moments for me. This year my boys made me gorgeous cards and put them on my pillow to find when I woke up. My parents and in-laws sent my mad money to buy something special. My hubby asked and asked and asked what I wanted for my birthday dinner.
However; this year I had no clue. In fact, I really wasn’t hungry.

Hey y’all! It’s me again, Allyson from Domestic Superhero, with a fun recipe for BLT Bruschetta for all of Shannah’s readers!
Now, this recipe was kind of thrown together last minute, and then I started wondering why I didn’t think of it before. I mean, everyone goes crazy over bacon, and this spin on traditional bruschetta is just so easy and tasty! The sauce here is clutch, too, because it really brings all the ingredients together. The juicy tomatoes (Shannah’s favorite!), crispy bacon, and cool lettuce just make this BLT Bruschetta incredibly delicious. Then, you put it on top of a crunchy toasted slice of baguette and dress it with a cool tangy sauce – BAM – the perfect appetizer!

For the last 2 years or so, my husband and I have a great Sunday night tradition – nachos. Now, we don’t eat them every Sunday, but when we do, it’s a joyous evening. We started making them when we would watch Game of Thrones on Sunday night, and it slowly became our thing. When I was pregnant last year, nothing was getting between me and my Sunday night nachos, but now in the last year or so, it’s not such a regular occurrence. However, when I do make nachos, I do it right. Layer upon layer of chips covered in delicious cheese and fresh ingredients. When I was putting together this post for the Just Us Four readers, I knew I had to step up my game…in came the Jalapeno Ranch.
