Delicious Recipes to Keep my Family of Four Happy and Full
I love having a place to pin pictures or notes up neat my computer. I don’t love the way most cork boards look though because they are usually pretty plain. I decided to fix that though and made a burlap wrapped cork board.

We have a ton of wood furniture in our house which means we need a lot of coasters. I’ve been looking at different ways to make my coasters fun though so I don’t just have a bunch of boring circles lying around the house. Last week, I shared my chalkboard coasters that I made from ceramic tiles. They chalkboard coasters are perfect for parties but I wanted something to use on other occasions too. I had gotten some wallpaper from Spoonflower and didn’t use it all so I decided to make wallpaper coasters.

Surgery put the brakes on changing H’s room to a bigger girl room but we are slowly moving forward. While I was resting comfortably with my pain meds and my knee propped up, painters came and changed her room from pink to a gorgeous citron green {selected by H herself}. I am thrilled to be working with Styled by Tori Jewelry and Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores on this post. While I have been compensated for this post, all thoughts, opinions and experiences shared here are my own.
This year, I decided I wanted to break out of my standard one necklace and wedding rings norm and start adding some fun jewelry to my daily outfits. So, I started buying jewelry from different places when I found pieces I liked. Well, that got expensive…FAST!
My next thought was to make my own jewelry but I had zero experience with that. The jewelry aisle in the craft store was so overwhelming and seemed to be really complicated. I pretty much ran out of there the first time I visited. Then, Styled by Tori Jewelery challenged me to create my own jewelry using their NEW line of gorgeous pieces. The best part: no tools required!

This post originally appeared last year but I wanted to share it again as part of my flashback series.
This summer wreath is made out of the quintessential summer item: flip flops!
For me, that means flip flops are pretty much all you see on my feet. The only exception is if I am heading to a meeting and, then, I throw on a pair of heels for the duration. In my mind, flip flops = summer!
I wanted to change up some of the decorations on the house for summer and started with the front door. Can you guess where this going?
Yep, I flip flopped my front door.
