We have a ton of wood furniture in our house which means we need a lot of coasters. I’ve been looking at different ways to make my coasters fun though so I don’t just have a bunch of boring circles lying around the house. I was bored on one of my recent sick days {there have been way too many of them in my personal opinion} and was scouring Craigslist. As I clicked from page to page I saw: Cabbot Wren Chippendale Chair (!). Amazingly, when I emailed her, the chair was still available. As if the chair was meant for me, she was headed out of town until the end of the weekend so I had time to actually get well before needing to pick it up!

I have this boring old white step stool that lives in our powder room. The kids use it to stand on when they wash their hands in the sink. I wanted to give it a little upgrade and thought stenciling it would be a perfect way to do that. I received a set of Handmade Charlotte stencils and I decided to try them out on this project.
