I may not have shared this before but I suffer a particularly sad problem of not being able to eat regular pizza. I’ve tried tons of different tomato sauces and none of them sit right with my system. Taking salad favorites and making them a little more friendly for picnics or BBQs is a total passion of mine. A California cobb is hands down one of my favorite salads so of course I had to create a California cobb pasta salad that is filled with creamy blue cheese, smooth avocado and, of course, bacon!
Life gets busy. Between work, school projects, after-school activities and just all the little chores that come along with being an adult, it can be really tough to get dinner on the table. Trust me…I know! Although it is tough on so many nights of the week, I am passionate about making sure my family gets a home cooked meal as much as possible. With our crazy schedule, it can be tough. But, with recipes like this one pot bruschetta pasta, I can conquer all of life’s must do items and still get a delicious meal on the table. Plus, this recipe only needs one pot so there is less clean up making my to-do list just a little smaller in the process.

There is nothing quite like an amazing burger with fries. Mathlete will order that at just about any restaurant we go to if it is offered on the menu. We go on a lot of picnics once the weather turns nice. We live near Virginia wine country (yep, that is actually a thing) and so the local vineyards tend to be our picnic spots. Nothing goes better with wine than yummy cheese and appetizers. One of my favorites right now is this cherry brie crostini.

I am going to make a confession {although I might have shared this before}: I don’t like tomatoes. I don’t mind tomato sauce but actual tomatoes are something you will rarely find on my plate. So, it is probably a little odd that I am sharing with you this BLT spaghetti recipe since the T is obviously for tomato. But, the bacon and spaghetti part totally make up for the unwanted T.
