Cinco de Mayo isn’t a real celebration without a drink to enjoy with your meal {especially if that meal is a southwestern style turkey burger}. of course, all good Cinco de Mayo drink recipes have one important ingredients: tequila!
Back when we were visiting New York, we ate dinner at a fantastic Mexican restaurant with amazing {seriously, ah-mazing} margaritas. They weren’t your standard margaritas though and my favorite one prompted me to head home and make one of the key ingredients for future drinks.
What You’ll Need:
– Tequila {make it a decent quality clear one}
– 2 small jalapenos, sliced
Let’s Make It:
1) Add your sliced jalapenos to the a jar or other sealable container.
2) Pour in tequila.
3) Seal and refrigerate for 5-7 days. Enjoy {responsibly}.

It has a little bit of heat to it. I’d definitely recommend mixing it with something on the sweeter side in a cocktail. I’ll be sharing a passionfruit cocktail made with this infused tequila tomorrow 🙂
