Our front door is usually the first place you catch a glimpse of an upcoming holiday or new season. So far this year, I have been a little slow to get a new wreath up. My goal for Easter was to get a new wreath up before April 1st and I just barely made that goal. My Easter ribbon wreath was finished on March 31st and I put it out on the morning of the 1st. Score!
This is one of those crafts that I love. It takes almost now time but is so bright and cheery once you are done. To make it, I used just a few supplies:
– straw wreath form
– polka dot ribbon {mine was wired but I would recommend skipping the wired versions}
– Easter egg picks
– hot glue gun
Wrap you wreath in ribbon and then attach your Easter picks by sliding the wire pieces under the ribbon. Secure the Easter bunny on top with hot glue. See…so simple and easy! I think all told it took me maybe 15 minutes to get the wreath completely finished. I used some leftover white ribbon to hang the wreath.
I had picked up a blue bunny and a yellow one. At first, I had intended to use them both but ended up just choosing the blue one. I love how it matches with the bright pink ribbon. The fun colors help me finally start to break out of the winter blues.
Are you getting ready for Easter? Have you made any fun wreaths for the warmer weather recently?
Be sure to check my first Easter wreath from a few years ago too!

I love this idea of using a colorful ribbon for a wreath and adding accents as you did. The same wreath could be made up differently throughout the season. Great idea!!
