Breakfast for me is all about getting something delicious that I can also take with me on the go since I have a long commute into the city for work. I like to make sure I have something on the healthy side like an easy Green Smoothie!

- Blender
- Grater
- Peeler
- 1 Green Apple peeled and sliced
- 1 handful Baby Spinach
- 1 tsp Fresh Ginger grated
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 cup Milk

In the cup of a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to drink.

Thanks for sharing this recipe Shannah, I’ve added it to my list! One thing I’ve been doing lately is blending avocado seeds, they’re a great source of antioxidants and fiber. So whenever I eat an avocado, I just keep the seed in the fridge for later and add it as an extra ingredient to my next green smoothie experiment. Avocado seeds are actually quite bitter but if there’s enough fruit in the smoothie, you can hardly taste the seed. You gotta have a strong blender to crush the seed though!
