Grab some fresh fall apples and pears and get ready to make the best fall cocktail ever! Fall Sangria with Apples and Pears is totally my new favorite!
Back in the day, Mathlete and I were hardcore tailgaters. I used to love planning what we would take to the game to eat and drink. We had the luxury of our fellow tailgaters having a grill and we had a great little propane stove making it easy to have just about any we wanted. Of course, tailgating is just as much about what you are drinking as it is what you are eating.
To me, tailgating is all about fall so, even though we aren’t tailgating at the games as often anymore, I created a delicious Fall Sangria with Apples and Pears so I can at least feel like I am rooting on my home team in person!
When I started thinking about what fruit to put in my fall sangria, I instantly thought of apples and pears! They are everywhere this time of year and so it is easy to find really good ones. If you are as fortunate as we are, you might even live near some apple orchards where you can go pick them fresh!
Be sure to take enough to make two batches of this apple sangria if you are headed to the game. You’ll definitely need it if you are serving a crowd because everyone will want seconds!
What are your favorite tailgating cocktails? Do you still “tailgate” even if you don’t go to the game?

This was fabulous. Not a big drinker but I LOVE a festive cocktail from time to time. I plan on making for a Halloween party- so we test ran it tonight and it was PERFECT. We just got local honey at the apple orchard and it was exactly what it needed.
