Did all the mom’s out there have a great mother’s day?? I certainly did.My family and I went to visit my mom which is about a 4 hour trip each way from our home. With traffic, sometimes the trip can be as long as 7 hours which can really put a damper on it! Thankfully, we didn’t have too many problems this time around.
While we were home, we had a great visit with my mom and dad. H was so excited to see her grammy and gramps. They hadn’t seen Baby E since Christmas so there was a lot of oohing and ahhing over how big {and active} he is compared to then.
Of course, a mother’s day visit isn’t complete without treating the moms to a special meal and perhaps some shopping. Now, I haven’t lived in my hometown in over 10 years and A LOT has changed since I lived there. So, I have to rely on other sources to help me plan out where to buy things, where to eat and places to go.
Where would you turn? The internet, right? Local internet marketing makes such a huge difference for people in so many situations but especially when you are traveling to place that you aren’t as familiar with as you once were {and even more so when you are in a place you’ve never been}.
Well, can you believe that 2 of the places we wanted to do didn’t have websites for us to check out hours, location and get an idea of the menu?! Of course, we skipped right past those places in favor of somewhere that offered more information about what we’d be getting. We ended up finding a great little pizza place to have our Mother’s Day brunch and the weekend was fabulous.
So, tell me about your mother’s day? Do you regularly use local internet marketing tools to decide on things to do and places to go?
