Turn a favorite tedious holiday candy into a delicious Peanut Butter Buckeye Dip, that you can enjoy anytime you want without all the work!
If you are from Ohio or went to Ohio State, you probably have a love for buckeyes (the nut, candy and mascot!) that no one will ever top! To the rest of us, buckeyes are merely chocolate peanut butter candies that are super delicious but fairly labor intensive to actually make!
There is all the rolling, dipping and then waiting for them to set. They are certainly worth the work but sometimes you want all the flavor of the buckeye so much faster. Well, I am here to give you your buckeye fix in a simple to make Peanut Butter Buckeye Dip.
This sweet cream cheese dip is a total crowd pleaser so it is perfect for parties or even to have as a dessert at home. The combination of peanut butter and chocolate is perfect and you can find all kinds of things to dip in it like graham crackers or even pretzels if you want a little saltiness to go along with the sweet.
I have made it with sunflower butter too for a nut free option and it was just as delicious. So, as long as you make sure the other ingredients you choose are nut free, you can totally make this for school party desserts too!
What are some of your favorite desserts and sweet dips? I love just about any kind of treat with peanut butter in it!

Beat your softened cream cheese in the mixer until smooth. Add the cream peanut butter and let the mixer run for 1-2 minutes or until the peanut butter and cream cheese are incorporated really well. Add in the 2 Tbsp of milk.

Slowly add the powdered sugar allowing each previous addition to incorporate before adding more.

Fold in cool whip and chocolate chips. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. {Note: I ate some of the dip immediately after it was made and it was still delicious. Refrigeration just improve
-
In a bowl, melt the chocolate melting chips following the directions {mine said 30 seconds at 50% power; stir; additional 10 second increments until fully melted}. Drizzle the top of the dip with the melted chocolate and let sit for 2 minutes. Serve with cookies or graham crackers for dipping.

Oh, I love funfetti dip too. I tried a brownie batter dip recently that was pretty good too. I’m a chocolate with peanut butter fan though so this one is my favorite so far.

My calorie counter on my iPhone will not be happy with me when I make this dip. However, I am hosting a bridal shower in April that I think this would be a huge hit at! I am pinning this! Thanks.
Thanks for linking up to our Twirl and Take a Bow Party. Hope to see you again this Tuesday!

Haha…I know what you mean. I don’t think my waistline can handle this recipe too often but it is so delicious that I am willing to sacrifice to get it. This would be perfect for the bridal shower. I bet the ladies would love it!
