I am thrilled to partner with Orajel™ Kids to share my thoughts on childhood tooth health. As always, while this post was sponsored, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I have a GIANT sweet tooth. Like I think my whole mouth is nothing but sweet teeth because I crave sweets all the time. My children, especially my daughter, definitely inherited my loves of sweets. Now that she also loves to be in the kitchen, we do make a lot of treats together. Right now, her favorite is rice krispie treats but, of course, I had to change them up a bit so we made peanut butter nutella rice krispie treats in addition the regular ones.
These rice krispie treats are the ultimate combination of gooey marshmallow, peanut butter and nutella. Top them off with melted chocolate and you have the perfect sweet treat.
Ingredients for Peanut Butter Nutella Rice Krispie Treats:
6 Tbsp butter
10 oz large marshmallows
1/4 cup nutella
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
1/2 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
Let’s Make It:
1) In a large pan, melt 4 Tbsp butter over medium heat. Add large marshmallows and stir until melted. Stir in nutella, peanut butter and additional 2 Tbsp butter.
2) In a large bowl, combine marshmallow mixture with cereal. Stir until the cereal is covered. Stir in mini marshmallows.
3) Press mixture in a greased 9×13 pan. Top with peanut butter chips and 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
4) In a bowl, heat remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over rice krispie treats. Let set for 1 hour. Slice using a knife coated in cooking spray.
My daughter is always planning her next birthday party {even if it is almost a year away} and she says she wants these on the menu. Anything to make the birthday girl smile…
So, obviously, eating a lot of sweets means we have to be extra vigilant about making sure our kids take care of their teeth. That means, brushing regularly and using the right tools for the job. Orajel Kids offers an amazing kid line that includes toothpastes and toothbrushes that are perfect for little mouths.
My daughter is pretty good about brushing and loves the fruit flavored toothpaste Orajel Bubble Guppies™ Fluoride Toothpaste . I just like that I don’t have to work hard to convince her to brush after she eats…especially after candy. I want to be sure her smile stays as cute as ever as she grows up. With each passing year, we want her celebrating Smilestones at her birthday parties versus worrying if the cake is going to mess up her teeth!
This little guy is more of a challenge so we help him a lot more. The Orajel Thomas & Friends™ Fluoride-Free Training toothpaste is his favorite right now. He does love carrying around the toothbrush though so I figure he’ll be brushing all on his own soon.
Orajel Kids is offering one lucky winner an product gift pack and the chance to win a $2,000 gift card to use for the ultimate birthday party with the Smilestones Birthday Sweepstakes. Simply share your Smilestones photos to be entered to win.

This sounds delicious! I’m always looking for recipes using Nutella. How many marshmallows is 10oz? Thank you for sharing on the Small Victories Sunday Link up!

For the 10oz of marshallows, it was just one regular sized bag for me. I would think it was probably equivalent to 5 cups?
