Christmas decorating is in full force here! We’ve almost completed the outside {one deer left to plug in!} and I worked on the inside over the weekend.
As always, I started with our fireplace mantel in the family room. I love changing this over to a Christmas mantel.
This year, I went with a combination of mercury glass, pine cones and snowflakes. I moved my new mirror onto the mantle and used it as a starting point. Then, I added the pine cone garland.
Mercury glass vases, candle holders and animals were added next. I really love the hive texture on the large vase.
To keep with the natural vibe of the pine cones, I added gilded wood pieces to a small glass vase.
The little clips are actually stocking holders but those haven’t been unpacked quite yet 🙂 The last addition was the little snowflake clings to the mirror for a fun touch.
It is definitely starting to look like Christmas around here!

The mercury glass against the textures of the cones really makes this mantel special.
