A Sparkling Cranberry Mojito is the perfect party drink for the holidays. Make it by the glass or by the pitcher and watch your guests enjoy every sip!
Ok, are you loving cranberry week as much as I am?! I mean, I love cranberries anyways so sharing some of the ways I use them during the holiday season is super fun for me. I hope you are finding some recipe ideas that you can use too. Today, I’m focusing on one of my favorite party drinks: a Sparkling Cranberry Mojito.
We host a Christmas party every year and, in addition to wine and beer, I like to have a cocktail that people can enjoy too. I started playing around with this recipe using my Raspberry Italian Mojito for inspiration. Just a few simple swaps make this the perfect holiday cocktail for your party or just to enjoy in the evenings.
What’s in a mojito? The main mojito ingredients you need are mint leaves, white rum, sugar, fresh lime juice, and something bubbly like soda water or prosecco!
This is the best mojito recipe because it makes two, but you can easily scale it up to make a pitcher! Just add the prosecco to the glasses immediately before serving so you don’t lose any of the bubbles! Feel free to substitute a drier sparking wine too if you don’t want the sweetness from the prosecco.
This would be a great option for New Year’s Eve too as your prepare to count down to the new year. You could easily muddle the mint in a cocktail shaker and make the drink. Then, just pour it into a champagne flute! Yum.
What are your favorite Christmas cocktails? Do you like to use cranberries a lot during the holidays?
