We are in the last few days of August and with the new month also comes one of our favorite seasons: apple season. As part of the #CreativeBuzz challenge this month, I used my favorite granny smith apples to create an amazing caramel apple parfait. So, each month, a group of blogger friends and I get together to do a themed post. These women are amazingly creative and always knock it out of the park. In honesty, I typically forget about it until the week before or I just plain run out of time. Yep…I’m that person in the group! This month, our theme was numbers. I was stuck for so long because I couldn’t run into the kitchen and turn out something number related with ease. Instead, I did what I normally do when I am stuck…I talked to H and got her involved with the project. The result: this super cute back to school wreath with numbers.

I love coordinating food colors to the holidays. With Memorial Day and July 4th coming up, my head is swimming with ideas of red, white and blue foods. I made this red, white and blue berry cake the other night as a trial run for our upcoming Memorial Day BBQ and it was so good. Honestly, it might be the easiest cake to make on the planet too. Delicious and easy is exactly what I want when throwing together a last minute BBQ for friends.

It is official. Spring is here! Well, unless you count the 5 inches of snow we got yesterday. Then, it looks like Spring is farther away than ever. To make myself feel better about this ridiculous weather, I decided to dive into pastel colors head first and make spring Oreo truffles!

St. Patrick’s Day crafting is always super fun. I mean what can be better than rainbows and gold?! This year, I was thinking about a few things I wanted to do for St. Patrick’s Day and I stumbled across a striped clover file for my Silhouette. I knew immediately that I wanted to use it with my gold vinyl. And so, my St. Patrick’s Day striped clover mini plate was born.
