School starts for us next week and we are so excited {well, mostly excited and maybe a little stressed over how hectic our schedules are about to become}. Even though school hasn’t even officially started, we’ve already been getting emails about different fundraising events happening to raise money for our school. Sadly, school budgets are just as tight as ever and schools are trying to do what they can to still provide a quality education for our kids. I want my kids and all of the others at her school to get the best quality education, with access to state of the art technology and fun outdoor things like a track {the school’s current project}, so I try to help in any way I possible can.
I recently stumbled upon a way I can help just by doing something I normally do…a lot: eating chicken. Yep, through the Tyson’s Back to School Project A+ program, I can earn money for our school simply by cooking dinner. Each label is worth $.24 which is awesome and higher than a lot of other programs schools typically participate in!
To help you think of new ways to eat more chicken {and get more money for your school}, I’m sharing a quick, kid-friendly recipe for chicken and black bean quesadillas. You can also check out ideas on Tyson’s Pinterest boards.
