We love hosting parties or just having people over to hang out at the last minute on a weekend. Whenever I have people coming over, I like to have at least a few snacks for them to eat while we talk or watch tv. One of the easiest things to serve is dip with either bread or chips. My newest favorite is triple cheese kale dip because, well, it has three cheeses in it. You can totally call it just kale dip though to make yourself think you are eating vegetables!
Of course, triple cheese kale dip presents somewhat of a challenge. No, it isn’t who will get the last bite because I always make two batches! Whenever you bake cheese and other good stuff, it tends to stick to the dishes and make it hard to clean. I don’t exactly rush it to the dishwasher once we finish either so the foods get really stuck on. We are a strict “wash everything but knives in the dishwasher” family too so I need a dishwashing product that can handle my messy dishes.
At Target recently, I noticed that Finish® {our favorite brand of Dishwasher Cubes} had a new product available: Finish® Max in One™ Tablets. I am always looking to up my game when it comes to making the mountains of dishes we have {can you imagine how many dishes a family of 4, one of whom is a food blogger, makes on daily basis?!} easier to clean. I grabbed a package and took it home to try out.
I’ll let the before and after speak for itself and just tell you that I did not pre-rinse that dish at all!
Can you imagine how clean your glasses would be? Finish® is all about “shining and protecting” and prides itself on not leaving any residue, film or water spots. You can even save 5% off of the new Finish® Max in One™ using a Cartwheel at Target coupon from 3/29-4/25.
So, now you know how to clean up the dishes, let’s get them dirty first. Triple cheese kale dip is calling your name!
Tripe Cheese Kale Dip Ingredients:
1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and roughly chopped
1 cup roughly chopped kale
5 oz container of Greek yogurt
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp shredded Swiss cheese
1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp shredded Gruyere cheese
1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp shredded smoked gouda cheese
2 garlic cloves, minced
juice of 1 lemon
Let’s Make It:
1) Preheat oven to 375. Spray a 1 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
2) In a large bowl, combine artichoke hearts and kale. Add 1/2 cup Swiss cheese, 1/2 cup Gruyere cheese and 1/2 cup gouda cheese.
3) In a separate bowl, mix together yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic and lemon juice. Stir into kale mixture. Spread into baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
I serve my dip with crackers and sliced bread. Spoons would be ok too 😉
Just be sure you have the Finish® Max in One™ Tablets on hand for cleaning up the dishes after you are done eating the dip!
