Use this Pecan Pretzel Bites Recipe to make an adorable and delicious sweet treat for Valentine’s Day. Top them with a free bag topper for the perfect gift!
Remember my love of sweet treats for Valentine’s Day? Well, in addition to the super delicious heart shaped tres leche cakes I shared, today I am sharing a simple but delicious Pecan Pretzel Bites recipe that would be a perfect for Valentine’s Day recipe.
Now, the only thing I love more than a sweet treat is a treat that is a combination of salty and sweet. Salted caramel or anything like is my go to for dessert. I just can’t resist. These pretzels are the perfect combination of salty and sweet thanks to the pretzels and pecans being combined with the deliciousness of candy.
The pink color makes them perfect for Valentine’s Day dessert but you could make these anytime and I bet they would be a hit.
If you want to give these as a cute Valentine’s treat, you could put them in a bag and use this adorable printable bag topper on the top for a little Valentine’s Flair. Of course, they do have nuts in them so keep that in mind when you are making them for a kid’s class or daycare since many have nut restrictions.
I am so looking forward to Valentine’s Day after seeing all the delicious dessert and snack ideas around. What are you looking forwarding to most for Valentine’s Day?
I’m so excited to be a part of an awesome Valentine’s Blog Hop hosted by The Girl Creative where there are some truly amazing Valentine’s ideas.

Essential items for this recipe:
- Parchment paper
- Small bowl
- Silicon spatula
- Pecan Halves
- 1 cup Pink Candy Melts
- Square Pretzels
-
On a piece of parchment paper, lay the pretzels flat.
-
In a small bowl, microwave the candy melts for 30 seconds and stir until smooth. If the candy is not fully melted, microwave in 10 second intervals stirring well between until the candy is completely melted.
-
Working quickly, add a little of the melted chocolate to the underside of the pecan, then press it onto the pretzel. Repeat until you have as many as desired (you’ll want about 15-20 for a snack size ziplock bag).

Yum Shannah these look delicious. I like to make a similar thing with Rolos instead of pink candy melts but love the added pop of color.

These look great! I wonder if it would work with Almonds…they probably wouldn’t sit as well, but I may still try… 🙂

I bet you could use almond halves and it would work great. Or maybe Marcona almonds which have that flat side that would lay really well. Either way, the almond flavor would go great.
