Now that most of my shopping is complete, it is time to get down to the business of wrapping up all my wonderful presents to give. I like to have fun with the wrapping and try to either keep the person guessing on what the gift is or give it a unique twist on regular wrapping paper.
I bought two Disney Princess gifts {one for H and one for a friend} last week and they were on my list of things to wrap.
I started with the longer of the two boxes and tried to decide how to mask what it was.
I had picked up a pink foil table cover for a party we were planning but decided it would actually make a great wrapping tool!
With it sitting vertically, I pulled it up around the box so it hid all the sharp corners that are the tell tales signs of a box 🙂 DOing this also made the gift look a lot bigger than it actually is.
Then, I used some blue {Cinderella’s signature color!} wired ribbon to secure the table cover around the box.
A bow and glittery tag complete the wrapping.
I made the wired ribbon and bow easy to take off but stay in tact so H could wear them as a “belt” which she loves to do with gift packaging ribbon. All princess love dress up, right?
For my other gift, I decided to wrap it in blue tissue paper.
Then, I pulled out a set of fabric ribbon I had bought and started wrapping the box with the ribbon.
I did a pattern on each side and put a giant pink bow in the center.
It’s all wrapped and sitting next to our beautiful flowers {the tree isn’t quite ready for gifts under it yet}.
How do you wrap gifts: paper, bags, other materials?

That is SO pretty – I would hate to even open a gift like that because it would wreck the wrapping!!
