You are definitely going to want to make sure you grab some fresh, perfectly ripe watermelons to use in this recipe! Use a few slices as garnish and save the rest for this watermelon crush recipe.

- 4 oz vodka
- ½ cup pureed watermelon juice strain to remove any small seeds
- Squeeze of fresh lime
- 2 tsp simple syrup
- Crushed ice
- Lime soda (sprite) or seltzer water
- Watermelon slice for garnish

In a martini shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka, watermelon juice, lime, and simple syrup. Shake until well combined.

Divide the mixture evenly into two glasses.

Add crushed ice and top off with lime soda.
